Vol 1 Chapter 23
"The match is over. All your friends are here, so don't think about running away. Come here while I'm still being nice."
Of course, he didn't forget the background effect of laying about five undulating Fireballs around him.
In the end, the guys ended up kneeling before them in a row, receiving Kion-hyung's revenge. They were able to win easily because the guys were much weaker than Kapros and hyung had expected, and they also lacked tenacity.
Even after that, the guys who hadn't been beaten to the point of death continued to resist, but Kapros and hyung, who had deliberately left them like that, trampled them slowly without any mercy. There was one who tried to log out in the middle, but he shut his mouth when hyung threatened to report the video he had recorded as evidence to Saturn. Judging by how familiar it seemed, it was clearly not something he had done just once or twice.
Hyung even showed mercy by deliberately using healing magic, which Kapros had never seen before, on the severely injured guys. It was truly befitting of a cleric, and truly befitting of a ruffian at the same time.
"You bastards without any skills have completely messed up minds! Today, I, the great Kion-nim, will thoroughly fix the mindset of you guys who bully children at your age! Hahahahaha!"
The guys couldn't say anything and just watched cautiously. It was the wisdom of life they had gained after one of them was sent flying by a deadly roundhouse kick when they tried to resist a few times after being forced to kneel.
Watching this, Kapros examined his information window.
There had been quite a few changes in the information window as he started learning magic and leveling up.
First, his alignment, which had been 無 (None), had changed to Neutral, Nature. He hadn't done anything special to change his alignment, but it seemed to have changed like that because he had become a mage using the power of nature. For the rest of the stats like strength and vitality, he could invest 1 point wherever he wanted each time he leveled up, but Kapros had invested everything in willpower, not bothering to think about raising anything else. It was for the simple reason that he thought increasing willpower would be advantageous for casting magic, and he planned to continue doing so.
The numbers with plus signs after the stats were bonus figures from items he wore or activities he had done, and seeing that many were added to strength and agility, it seemed largely due to his engaging in physical combat alongside magic.
"Hard-working people are amazing beings. Why? There's no reason. And children are the most lovable beings in the world. Why? Again, there's no reason for this either. But you guys messed with 'hard-working!', 'kids!' Multiply by two! One plus one! ...Can you imagine how great a sin this is, huh?"
While Kapros was looking at his information window, hyung asked while kicking the guy who had resisted the most, and the guy nodded his head, trembling. At first, he had been trembling with shame and humiliation, but now he was trembling with fear. After getting hit a few times, they now listened well. Following hyung's obvious statement that it couldn't hurt that much since it was a game, each punishment soon led to a near-death punch. It was quite amusing to see swordsmen crying from a cleric's fists.
"What's even more unforgivable is that you guys showed no signs of remorse and even dared to insult me and Kar. Huh? Did you think I'd forget about this? You, speak up. The cowardly bastard who tried to stab from behind earlier. Yeah, you, the second mouse-sized-dick one there. What on earth should I do with you guys?"
That guy was the one who had tried to ambush Kapros from behind earlier, had been beaten nearly to death, received hyung's legendary healing magic, and then was beaten nearly to death once more.
"I... I don't know..."
"You don't know? Where do you get off shortening your words? How old are you guys to be doing this crap?"
The guys flinched, but when Kion-hyung raised his fist and Kapros thoughtlessly drew his right sword and started examining the blade, they quickly opened their mouths in a clamor.
"Twenty!"
"Twenty! Yes! Twenty!"
Twenty. It was surprising. Judging by their height and build, Kapros had thought they were older than him.
"Look at these mindless fools."
Unlike Kapros, Kion-hyung smiled pleasantly, then raised his foot high and started stomping on their heads one by one from the right. Thud. Ugh! Thud. Urk!
That low kick was almost a divine technique. Kapros couldn't even dream of doing that.
"You're twenty and doing this shit in a game, huh?! Oh, these wet-behind-the-ears bastards, I swear..."
As the atmosphere of a full-fledged beating was about to start again, one guy finally prostrated himself and started crying.
"Hey, bro... Please go easy on us... We won't do it again."
"Yes, me too..."
"Me too..."
However, instead of answering, hyung mercilessly roundhouse kicked all seven of them like dominoes. Watching the guys fall with pitiful screams, hyung opened his mouth with a disgusted expression.
"You pervert bastards, who are you calling 'bro'? There's only one person here who can call me bro, you sons of bitches!"
At those words, Kapros stared at Kion-hyung. Hyung looked at him too and grinned. Hyung was so full of energy that Kapros didn't know what to say.
Anyway, that day, hyung really held onto those guys until the forced logout time, rolling them this way and beating them that way, personally giving them a truly nightmarish time. In the end, the guys logged out for the last time after crying and offering money and items as compensation for the flower-selling girl and for defamation of hyung and Kapros. Even Kapros thought that this level of treatment could probably brainwash them, so it seemed this would be the last time they'd see their faces, if only out of terror. After that, feeling that one task was finally over, the tense nerves relaxed.
"Haa... Phew..."
Kion-hyung, who approached Kapros in surprise as he sat down on the field as if collapsing, realized it was simply from exhaustion and patted his back with a smile.
"You really worked hard today."
"You too, hyung."
"Me? Well... Beating up guys like that is the joy of my life. Hehehe."
Hyung flopped down beside Kapros.
"You were surprisingly good with those dual swords."
"Really? I guess it's because my reflexes are decent."
"No, that really wasn't ordinary movement. Did you perhaps learn swordsmanship in reality?"
Thump.

Jin Soram, the top-ranked hunter representing South Korea's Rift Phenomenon Management Headquarters, is stronger than anyone else and lazier than anyone else. As soon as he arrives at the office, he buries himself under a blanket and falls asleep. When he goes out on a mission, he causes accidents and returns to the office, often shirking his duties.
"Do you know how it feels to play a game that's already messed up? ...Anyway, the next round will come, so this time, I'm just going to play it recklessly."
In fact, his true identity is someone who has regressed through three lives, trying to save the world from the Great Rift but failing each time. After repeating a life where he couldn't sleep peacefully even for a day, he became completely exhausted before this life even began.
"I know. You worked hard, Jin Soram."
And then there's Han Tae-un, the man who saved Soram and died in all three previous lives. As he did in every life, he comes to Soram's side once again. The Great Rift is approaching soon. It's impossible to resolve it in this life without any preparation. Soram vows to save Tae-un in this life and die himself. At least, he won't let Tae-un save a failure like himself again.
"For now, until then, let's sleep..."
As Soram sluggishly lives his life waiting for that moment, a gradual change occurs in his heart.
'I thought this was a messed-up round... but I want to live a little longer here.'

Three years later, his name has been forgotten by the world. The Council has been persistently pursuing him, but he has proven difficult to capture. Frustrated by this, Hugo Agrizendro, the commander of the Council's army, decides to personally apprehend him.
"Since when have you been watching me?"
Leonardo was calculative and astute, so it wouldn't be surprising if he had been observing Hugo for some time now. However, Leonardo's answer was something that even Hugo had not anticipated.
