Vol 6 Chapter 30

As Kapros was thinking this and composing himself while wiping away the remaining traces of saliva, he suddenly noticed that a cold gaze was following the movement of his hand. Je-hwan was silently glaring at Kapros's arm as he rubbed his face. Feeling as if his arm was growing cold where the gaze touched, Kapros hesitated and lowered it, but the gaze followed without hesitation.

"I'm sorry for hitting you. But,"

As Kapros opened his mouth, unable to hold back any longer, Je-hwan spoke for the first time.

"Don't erase it."

The momentary relief at the silence finally breaking was short-lived as Kapros frowned, not understanding the unexpected words. Smoldering eyes stared directly at him. What was boiling in those eyes seemed like ultra-low temperature fire, so cold that it felt like it was burning his skin.

A sinister aura resembling killing intent filled the room, making it impossible to move carelessly.

"Don't erase my traces."

Seeing Kapros's frozen expression of incomprehension, Je-hwan spoke once more.

"Don't try to push only me away while letting others into your house."

"Others...?"

Just as Kapros was about to frown at the strange nuance, Min-hoo's face, who had visited his house, suddenly flashed in his mind. Could it be?

"Did you see Jung Min-hoo... no, Kran...?"

Remembering that Je-hwan had never met anyone other than himself in reality, only in the game, Kapros quickly changed the name to the one used in the game. As if confirming Kapros's suspicion, Je-hwan's expression changed slightly. Ah...!

"What? Kran is someone you know too..."

"I don't know him."

Kapros hesitated to answer, unable to find the right timing to say "I'm sorry about earlier" which should have been said before this in the awkward atmosphere. Je-hwan's chilling voice cut him off.

"I don't know him. But I know he's the one you let in after pushing me away."

For a moment, Kapros felt so irritated that he forgot the dangerous atmosphere heavily filling the air.

"Don't say it like that."

"I guess I don't even have the freedom to leave first anyway. If I disappear, you'll immediately forget about me and call other guys."

The flat, emotionless voice echoed through the darkened house.

"What?"

"It's like that even now."

"You really..."

Kapros's voice, about to ask what Je-hwan had come for, faded as he saw the tall figure standing right in front of him, casting a shadow.

Oh no. He should have gotten up first...!

Just as he was about to fully raise his body, revived by the caution in his mind, the owner of those eyes glinting like a beast moving in the darkness grabbed Kapros's chin, forcefully sealing it, and kissed him again.

"Ugh!"

Why this again...! Anger boiled up, but being in his right mind now, Kapros couldn't push him away by hitting him, and before he knew what to do, their tongues intertwined relentlessly once more.

With no strength left, Kapros decided to endure it with his eyes closed, relaxing his entire body, half out of anger and half out of curiosity to see how far this would go. He thought he didn't care much about what happened to his lips anyway, so it didn't matter what Je-hwan did. However, this couldn't prevent the feeling of his heart growing heavy and tight.

His eyelids trembled finely as he unconsciously let out a long sigh, his chest burning. Every time the tongue stirred, the pain from the wound on his head throbbed strongly, causing groans to escape. Perhaps sensing this, the hand that had been gripping tightly suddenly hesitated, and the lips that had been sucking relentlessly at first gradually began to lose strength, until after a while, they completely stopped moving, just pressing against Kapros's lips.

Although the body touching Kapros's arm that Je-hwan was holding remained the same as before, everything else seemed to have stopped as if time had frozen. An eerie silence fell, with not even the rustling of clothes to be heard.

Just as Kapros thought Je-hwan must have had enough and was about to open his eyes, he was startled by a sudden drop of hot liquid on his eye. As he quickly opened both eyes, he vividly felt the sensation of the fallen droplet rolling down his cheek.

What came into his opened view was Je-hwan's face, still pressed against his lips, and...

"..."

While the second and third droplets fell on his face in succession, Kapros saw the finely shining moisture pooled in Je-hwan's expressionless eyes that were still staring only at him without any change.

As Kapros looked at that pooled water with a feeling of sudden breathlessness, it fell onto his cheek again and trickled down.

Although the only light allowing objects to be identified in the darkness was the faint light flowing in from the window, unlike other silhouettes blurred by that light, Je-hwan's face alone was strangely clear to see. Or perhaps it was because the distance was too close.

It felt surreally real to see the guy with well-shaped eyebrows like they were drawn between his bluish hair, overlapping his lips with Kapros's without frowning or showing any emotion, while drops of water fell from his eyes.

'Is he... crying?'

By the time this thought finally crossed Kapros's mind, his eyes and cheeks were already thoroughly wet. If anyone had seen, it would have looked as if Kapros himself had been crying. He slightly turned his head, parting their lips by just a few centimeters, and spoke.

"What's this suddenly."

His heavily hoarse voice barely came out in a whisper. Despite surely feeling Kapros's breath as he spoke, Je-hwan didn't answer. Instead, what had been wavering in his black eyes fell once more, hitting Kapros's face. It was such a bizarre sight that Kapros could hardly believe it.

Just like you shouted for the first time today, is this all because of me too...?

"...I'm sorry."

A similarly low, hoarse voice suddenly struck Kapros's ears. Every time Je-hwan's lips moved to speak, the ticklish sensation was directly transmitted to Kapros's lips, which were almost touching.

"I'm sorry. I know you don't like it."

"..."

"I couldn't stop myself."
