Chapter 110: Old Mo

In the room at the dock gang hall.

Xu Hu frowned as he looked at the black men on the sofa, then turned to greet Gu Tongshan: "Master."

"Good that you're back, sit," Gu Tongshan made a welcoming gesture.

"Hey, brother," an extremely burly black man in the center of the sofa waved at Xu Hu in greeting.

Xu Hu looked at him and nodded.

The group of black brothers in the room were all dressed very fashionably, wearing baggy jeans, colorful cotton T-shirts, some with baseball caps and colored bandanas on their heads.

These people were Gu Tongshan's suppliers - the gold bricks seized at sea had come from them. They belonged to the "company" with the War Hammer logo.

After Xu Hu bent down to sit, the burly black leader reached into his belt seam and pulled out a very small clear white bag. He bit it open and poured some powder on the table: "Brother, relax!"

Xu Hu frowned at him without saying anything.

"What's wrong brother? Be happy!" The burly black man spoke poor Chinese, waving at Xu Hu again with unclear pronunciation.

"Nick!" Gu Tongshan called out with furrowed brows: "This is Dragon City, you need to show some manners!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the man called Nick picked up the gun from the table, suddenly stood up, and pointed it directly at Xu Hu's head.

Beside them, Wei Xiangzuo sat in the corner smoking, watching the situation in the room without saying a word.

Xu Hu looked at Nick with some surprise: "What are you trying to do?!"

"Damn fool, you didn't follow our contract!!" Nick held the gun with a fierce look, demanding very directly: "Are you trying to take over our market?!"

"Put the gun down!!" Gu Tongshan shouted.

Nick turned to look at him: "We had an agreement, sir! Cheap goods, you exclusive, OK?!"

"I said put the gun down!" Gu Tongshan shouted again.

The two sides faced off. Nick stared at Gu Tongshan for several seconds, slowly turned his head, and suddenly pulled the trigger.

"Pop!"

A BB pellet hit Xu Hu's head with a light sound.

"Hahaha!" Nick laughed loudly: "Just a joke, brother!"

Xu Hu's forehead was somewhat red and swollen as he looked at the other with gloomy eyes, slowly standing up.

Gu Tongshan sat in the wooden chair with his hands in his sleeves: "Xu Hu, sit down!"

Xu Hu looked at Nick expressionlessly for a full four or five seconds before bending down to sit again.

"Yo-ho!!"

Nick swung the gold chain on his wrist, holding the fake gun, shaking his head and swaying as he called out before bending down to sit on the sofa. He crossed his legs and asked: "Dear friend, when can we start working?"

Xu Hu was extremely angry inside, but constrained by Gu Tongshan's presence, he only gritted his teeth and replied: "Although Yu Jinrong has been dealt with badly and the three dirty gang companies have closed, things aren't over yet. We can't move goods now, otherwise if problems occur at sea again and those above pay attention, it will be hard for us to handle. Especially since the disturbance in Zha'nan was so big, the Police Bureau is angry."

"Not moving goods is right," Wei Xiangzuo interjected. "Maybe we shouldn't move any in the future either."

"What are you saying?" Nick looked at Wei Xiangzuo in astonishment and demanded, still gesturing with the fake gun in his hand.

Wei Xiangzuo glanced at him: "Fucking behave yourself! Don't act like an idiot, this is Dragon City, not your Old Mo slum!"

"Stop arguing!" Gu Tongshan called out, looking up at Nick with his hands in his sleeves as he continued: "We really can't start work now. We can retaliate against Yu Jinrong, but they can also retaliate against us!"

"How long do we wait?" Nick asked.

"At least until Yu Jinrong completely submits and finishes negotiating with us," Xu Hu replied.

"Oh God! Are you joking? How fierce is the competition for these goods? You think those junkies are your fans, waiting for you to start work before buying? We face competition, OK?" Nick spread his palms and shouted. "Constantly supplying the market is yours."

Xu Hu ignored him and only looked up at Gu Tongshan saying: "Master, we still need to watch those above's faces to make money."

Gu Tongshan slowly nodded: "We can't start work for now, even normal contraband needs to wait."

Black people's expressions and body language were hard for Chinese people to read. Although Nick seemed quite hip-hop and crazy, he was actually very angry inside, otherwise he wouldn't have played that excessive joke as soon as Xu Hu entered.

Nick pondered for a while: "Waiting for negotiations is too long. We can completely find ways to use external force to interfere a bit, force that Yu to compromise."

"This is Dragon City's internal conflict, don't interfere," Gu Tongshan said decisively, then softened his attitude somewhat to make a promise: "After work resumes, cargo volume up thirty percent as compensation, how's that?"

"You Chinese are too troublesome!" Nick shook his head: "With competition, you should quickly kill your opponent. I... I don't understand why wait."

Everyone fell silent.

"That's it for now!" Nick stood up and led his "colleagues" out of the room.

Inside the room, Xu Hu took a cigarette from the box on the table and lit it, saying softly: "Old Wei, I want to speak privately with Master!"

"Alright!" Wei Xiangzuo stood up: "I'll wait in the corridor, call me when you're done."

After Wei Xiangzuo left, Xu Hu sat in the chair, took a deep drag on his cigarette before forcing himself to say: "Master, I...!"

"Don't hem and haw, speak directly," Gu Tongshan replied.

"After locking down Yu Mingyuan, if the sea business can resume, could we let out about twenty percent of our Zha'nan territory for the brothers below to work?" Xu Hu looked at Gu Tongshan: "These Old Mo people are too black, prices high, goods short, brothers risk their heads to work but end up with little money."

"Hehe!" Gu Tongshan grinned: "You think... those above are taking too much?"

"That's not what I meant, Master," Xu Hu immediately explained. "I just feel that this channel..."

"Since Zha'nan started this business, we've worked with Old Mo. If you switch to another channel, there will be trouble," Gu Tongshan said with his hands in his sleeves. "You know the profits this thing generates! We're already fighting like this just because Yu Jinrong wants to do some cigarette and alcohol business at sea. If you bring in another channel, what kind of situation would that be?"

Xu Hu looked at him: "We can do it privately, not tell Old Mo!"

"Just like before? Six million in goods turning out to be over eight million in volume?" Gu Tongshan stared at Xu Hu and asked.

"...!" Xu Hu was stunned.

Outside the door, Wei Xiangzuo stood in the corridor with furrowed brows and a complex expression.

......

At the Su family home.

Su Tianyu sat in the room and asked softly: "Did you look for the place I asked you to?"

"I looked, but couldn't find him," Su Tianbei shook his head and asked: "...You want to help Daxiong?! I advise you to calm down! His case is too big, whoever gets involved dies!"

"Help me look, if you can find him, I'll find a way to send him away!" Su Tianyu replied.

"Have you gone crazy?! What connection do you have with him? Why must you get involved?"

"He killed Zheng Wei to help me," Su Tianyu stood up and replied. "Don't worry about it, I know what I'm doing!"

Su Tianbei pondered for a while: "The Police Bureau hasn't caught him yet, where could we find him? This guy's head works differently from normal people, really hard to guess where he might hide!"

"If he hasn't left the city, he must still be in Zha'nan district," Su Tianyu thought for a moment and said: "Ask around quietly, just take your people to look for him, we'll do our best."

"Mm," Su Tianbei nodded.

"Ring ring!"

As they were talking, a phone rang.

"Hello, Brother Yuan!"

"Get ready, we're leaving tomorrow," Yu Mingyuan's voice came through.
